PEDIATRIC SPEECH THERAPY

Helping children develop clear and effective communication skills through engaging and playful techniques.

A speech evaluation is the first step in understanding how your child is developing their communication skills. It is designed to look at how your child speaks, understands language, uses words, and interacts with others.During the evaluation, we will:
• Talk with you about your child’s development, medical history, and any concerns you have
• Engage your child in play-based or age-appropriate activities to observe their communication skills
• Use standardized tests or informal procedures to assess articulation, vocabulary, understanding, and social interaction

The goal is to get a full picture of how your child is communicating and to determine whether they might benefit from speech therapy or other support. At the end, we will explain the results in a way that’s easy to understand and answer any questions you may have. If needed, we will also suggest a personalized treatment plan to help your child build stronger communication skills.
Speech therapy services are designed to help children become confident and effective communicators. Whether your child is having difficulty pronouncing certain sounds, understanding directions, putting words together, or using language in social situations, speech therapy provides support tailored to their unique needs. A licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) works one-on-one with your child (and sometimes in small groups) using fun, engaging activities that feel more like play than work. We may focus on areas such as:

Speech sounds – helping your child say words more clearly

✓ Language skills – building vocabulary, sentence structure, and understanding

✓ Social communication – learning how to start conversations, take turns, and read social cues

✓ Stuttering/fluency – improving how smoothly your child speaks

Therapy sessions are always personalized, and progress is shared with you along the way. The goal is to give your child the tools they need to communicate clearly and confidently, in school, at home, and with friends.

Preschool (3-5 years)

Our preschool speech therapy programs help children improve articulation, expand their vocabulary, and strengthen their ability to follow directions and express themselves clearly. Through engaging activities, we address speech sound disorders, early language delays, and social pragmatic language skills, setting a strong foundation for success in school and beyond.

ADULT SPEECH THERAPY

Practical and personalized speech therapy designed for adults.

Speech evaluation is the first step in understanding your communication goals and creating a plan that works for you. Whether you’re looking for support with fluency (stuttering) or you’re interested in modifying your accent, the evaluation is a relaxed, one-on-one session.During the evaluation, we will:

• Talk with you about your goals, communication history, and any challenges you're experiencing
• Listen to your speech in casual conversation and through guided activities
• Assess things like speech smoothness, pronunciation patterns, rhythm, and clarity
• Identify your strengths and areas that could benefit from support or practice

The process is personalized, respectful, and focused on what matters most to you—whether that’s feeling more confident in meetings, reducing moments of stuttering, or being easily understood in everyday conversations. At the end of the evaluation, we will explain the results in clear, simple terms and recommend a therapy plan, if needed, that fits your lifestyle and communication goals.

Adult Speech Therapy Treatment Services
Adult speech therapy isn’t just for medical concerns—it’s also a great resource if you're looking to speak more smoothly or clearly in everyday situations. Whether you want to work on fluency (such as stuttering) or are interested in accent modification, we can help.

Fluency (Stuttering)
If you find yourself getting stuck on words, repeating sounds, or feeling anxious about speaking, speech therapy can help you:

✓ Speak more smoothly and confidently
✓ Learn tools to manage moments of stuttering
✓ Build comfort and ease in conversations, public speaking, or professional settings

Speech therapy is supportive and customized to your goals—whether that means reducing physical tension while speaking or becoming more confident in your communication.

Accent Modification
If English isn’t your first language and you’d like to adjust your accent for clearer communication at work, school, or in social settings, speech therapy can help you:

✓ Improve clarity and pronunciation
✓ Learn stress, rhythm, and intonation patterns of American English
✓ Build confidence speaking in both casual and professional environments

Accent modification is not about “getting rid of” your accent—your voice and background are a part of who you are. It’s about helping others understand you more easily and supporting your goals in communication.Whether you're working on fluency or fine-tuning your accent, speech therapy gives you personalized strategies and support to help you feel more comfortable and confident when you speak.

Speech Clarity & Accent Modification

Clear and confident speech is essential for effective communication in both personal and professional settings. Our therapy services help individuals improve pronunciation, articulation, and overall speech clarity. Whether you are looking to modify an accent, enhance intelligibility, or refine your speaking skills for work or social situations, we provide tailored strategies to help you communicate with ease.

Fluency / Stuttering

Stuttering modification focuses on modifying or easing stuttering moments rather than eliminating them. The goal is to help individuals manage stuttering in a way that reduces its impact and makes it less stressful. This approach often emphasizes self-acceptance and understanding stuttering as a part of one's speech pattern. Fluency shaping, on the other hand, focuses on preventing stuttering by teaching more fluent speech patterns. It aims to reshape the way speech is produced, with the goal of producing smoother, more fluid speech.
